THE ME GOD SEES® BOOK CLUB is an opportunity for persons with a specific interest in personal development books to come together and help each other experience fulfilling lives. Anyone seriously interested in changing their lives is ideal for the book club. Our initial book is A COURSE IN WEIGHT LOSS by Marianne Williamson. The book is available in hard or paperback and can be easily acquired from any bookstore.

Women seeking self awareness, improvement and empowerment are primary goals as we seek continued personal growth.

* Who should join: Community members who would like to improve thier sense of well-being by practicing positive affirmations and meditations in a group setting. * Why members should join: It is a fast-break time uplift. Just a power hour to discuss what issues you think are limiting you and the community and have an oportunity to have them balanced in a group setting. * What members can expect out of the Group: Energy circle, group discussion and meditation.

Sacred spaces meets for 90 minutes on the fourth Saturday of the month to practice a few different meditation styles. We meet at the First Unitarian Universalist Church on the Southeast corner of Claiborne and Jefferson Avenues. The building has a beautiful labyrinth built into the floor for contemplative walking meditation, beautiful soft light, and lovely acoustics. Relax and be present in the moment. We welcome you.
