Hi Everyone!
I am officially moved into my new place, have actually managed to find some of the things I haven’t seen for about a year. Also am utterly fatigued and no where near settled. I was hoping to have a meeting this weekend at our apt club house but have been told there is a fee of $75.00!? I haven’t had a moment to negotiate with them and don’t like having this meeting in a coffee shop due to privacy issues, sooo…unless someone has a home they would like to offer, I will continue to work with this issue. Am also waiting to hear from one of our members who is coming in from out of town.
I would like to hear back from those of you who are truly interested in attending a meeting and when is the best time for you. Please send a note to me as soon as you can.
I have re-read Richard Bach’s ‘Bridge Across Forever’ and its sequel, ‘One’ many times and would like to discuss some of the concepts in these books the next meeting. It’s a story about two people who knew intimacy was not only possible but vital to life, believed in it, searched for it, found it, abused and lost it, then decided it was worth what ever they had to change to live it.
All relationship requires some change on our part. We don’t have to give up who we are but we may need to give up some of the ways we are if we truly want to know intimacy. It’s all part of the adventure!
Intimacy is not just about feeling good. It’s about Everything!
